As an artist and sculptor, I find inspiration in unexpected places. One of my favorite materials to work with is old tools. I collect these unique pieces from flea markets, yard sales, and even from friends and acquaintances. Each tool tells a story and has a history, which adds depth to the sculptures I create.

Fishing has always been a part of my life, from the earliest memories on my grandfather's boat to taking my own sons out on the water. It is a source of inspiration for me in my work as a sculptor. Here are some of my favorite fish sculptures that I have created over the years.

I love abstract sculpture. My raw material, scrap metal, lends itself well to the abstract. This works out well because I tend to think in the abstract. The challenge of finding random pieces and creating a work of art is very rewarding.
