The Unexpected

You know what Robert Frost said about the best laid plans. "They often go awry" My latest sculpture is a case in point.

I was back in the corner, looking for material and ideas for my latest series, Towers for the New World, There I spotted a few pieces that grabbed my attention.

My intent was to create a piece similar to the first two pieces in the series. However, the pieces that I selected steered me in another direction. So I got to work and just let the material tell me what it wanted to be.
